The Pennsylvania Champion Tree Program contains a list of the largest trees of the various species in our state so they can be identified, preserved, and enjoyed by all. The Champion Trees list contains species that are native to Pennsylvania, as well as some that have been introduced here.

Your help is needed to locate, document, and preserve outstanding trees in Pennsylvania. If you know of a potential Champion Tree, please bring it to our attention using use our online nomination form below.

Using one of the measuring techniques listed on this site, record the following information:

	Species (Latin name if you know it)
	Your name
	Your address
	Phone number
	Landowner (if not you)
	Address of landowner
	Phone of landowner
	Location of tree (street address, but we prefer GPS)
	Members of the measuring crew
	Circumference at 4.5' at mid-slope
	Height (with method used)
	Average spread
